Valerius shook off his reverie as he approached Alec's castle, once Seraphina's home. The walls that once whispered of past glories and sorrows, now whispered secrets as he passed by.
As he made his way through the corridors, he encountered one of Seraphina’s most trusted knight, Remiel.
Remiel cheerfully greeted the Duke and congratulated him on having accomplished another successful trade negotiation.
Valerius shared a strong bond with Remiel and Azriel because of their mutual goal of protecting Seraphina and the Kingdom.
During their brief conversation, Remiel subtly inquired about his visit to which he confirmed it as a summon from the King with no reason specified.
As Valerius turned to leave, he noticed Remiel's intense lingering gaze, but before he could speak, Azriel emerged, gripping Remiel's wrist in a silent command.
