Paul and Silas worshipping in prison. π
A dramatic image of Paul and Silas preaching to prisoners in a Roman jail at sunset. The artwork uses dramatic lighting and emotive colors in a style reminiscent of the old masters.

This was one of my favorites. Though I'm not exactly "in prison"... I don't have a financially free life and never have since birth. I sometimes get caught up in coveting what others have that I think I "lack"... but truly I lack nothing and in the kingdom of heaven I am truly rich. I have learned to be content (mostly, lol) in all things... And do you want to know my favorite thing about this story in the Bible? (I'll tell you anyway π) After the praise and the doors flung open and the chains and shackles fell... none of the captives ran off. And because of that, guards were even persuaded.
Great scene. Love the title tooπβοΈβ£οΈ
Paul was content in all circumstances; your entry made me think of that. Excellent creation πππ
Lovely, I love this scene, I love that they stayed in the prison after it broke open to show they were Free (of Spirit) and jails could not hold them. Followed you back. Be Blessed.

Thank you ALL for playing in the Bible and Faith Room "A Peculiar People" Challenge! There were such beautiful and imaginative representations of scripture quotes in this gallery as well as some wonderful and practical applications to our lives "set apart". Pez will have a new challenge posted for us tomorrow, and I hope we will see you all again then.
2Timothy 2:21- "If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."
Abundant Blessings to you all. πππ
