A Gorgeltz (or gorgeltzen, plural), is one of the more annoying pests to find passage through the veil. They have an almost manic need to collect parts of a whole. Tupperware lids, certain sockets from wratchet sets, and left socks. Sadly they can't always tell which sock is the left one which is why you usually find the lost sock shortly after losing the remaining one. They are not harmful under most circumstances and are ridiculously skittish, they view humans similar to how humans view spiders. They are absolutely terrified of us. But their psychological need to collect separated parts of a whole overrides that fear.
This image depicts a 2-foot-tall, intelligent creature with a skittish demeanor, featuring gnarled ears, copper-hued eyes, and a wide, lipless mouth. Its mottled, greenish skin and spindly arms evoke a sense of unease, as if poised to flee at any moment.
