... Throughout the day, Lisa noticed a mix of reactions. Some professors and classmates greeted her as usual, while others looked twice, trying to adjust to her new appearance. During her History seminar, one professor paused mid-sentence, giving her a thoughtful look before continuing with the lecture.

At lunch, her friend Mark approached her. “Hey, Lisa. Is that a… new look?”

Lisa smiled behind the mask. “Yes. I’m experimenting with it.”

He nodded slowly. “It’s… different. I respect it. You look… serious, I guess. Like someone I’d really listen to.” ...
