Thank you! I actually have a challenge room here that is for plus size and large bodies. They often don't do well in general challenges and I want people to have a place to come and feel accepted and seen.

Fatphobia can have significant and far-reaching impacts on young women, affecting their mental, physical, and social well-being.
These effects are exacerbated by societal beauty standards, which often equate thinness with success, health, and desirability, placing undue pressure on young women to conform.

Mental Health Impacts include:
•  Low Self-Esteem. Constant
exposure to fatphobic messages can lead young women to feel unworthy or inadequate because of their body size.
• Body Dissatisfaction: Fatphobia promotes unrealistic beauty ideals, leading to chronic dissatisfaction with one's body, regardless of size.
• Eating Disorders: Young women may develop disordered eating behaviors, such as restrictive dieting, binge eating, or purging, in an attempt to lose weight and avoid stigma.
• Anxiety and Depression: Fear of judgment or rejection due to their weight can increase feelings of isolation, anxiety, and depression.
