Michele: "We need you to be Sabi the Speed Queen for the first part. First, run a couple of quali laps, quick as you can make them. Then, some laps, not quite as quick as qualifiers, but like in- and out-laps in an undercut/overcut situation."
Sabine: "So my objective is speed. What's the tech and strategy objective?"
Michele: "Now that Rhonda and Mari have found their speed, Evan, Kurt, and I see that our acceleration and gear change profiles are not really that far apart. If we can all adapt to your profile, that will make all of us quicker. Not as quick as you, mind you . . ."
Sabine: [grins with mock arrogance] "Thank you."
Michele: "But if we can make the differences smaller and more consistent, we'll have an edge of not worrying as much about who's in the car. Then we just have to get everyone's drive time according to the rules."
Sabine: "Sweet! Well, let me mount up and get after it!"
