Swedish Meatballs

Looks delicious! Try adding a bit of red wine to the sauce, it gives an interesting touch to meatballs.

I've always wondered how "Swedish" the American version of Swedish meatballs is. This is very similar to the way my family made them... only we almost always cooked it with extra broth and cream and noodles in the pan too. I guess like Beef Stroganoff, only for that we used a cubed beef, not a mince in balls, we used cream cheese in it, and we used dry egg noodles instead of the homemade kind that we put in with our "Swedish Meatballs". I think @Cocolasticot is from that region... perhaps he can tell us about the authenticity to Sweden? Oh and hey, what about Swedish Fish? I must someday go to Sweden if only for the Chocolate! lol.
