GREAT SPACE SHIP! I had a dream kinda like this back in high school, and started devising a ttrpg around it that I made all of my friends beta test for me.
It was gonna be called TAB (Trans-Atmospheric Biosphere)... but we dithered and did the wrong book, which flopped, and the band broke up and I took back my stuff, and now I'm starting fresh.
This was a third of a century ago.
Mine was much too close to Angus McKee's space bubble, which also appeared in the first Heavy Metal animated movie, a lifetime ago.
The 80s were weirder than reported.
By comparison, yours feels Byzantine.
