Space Station - Mining Drone Bay

Deep on the underside of the space station, in the depths of it's primary industrial sector lay multiple drone bays that are used to support orbital and asteroid based mining. These bays receive the drones as they are sent back from both manned and automated mining sites, then empty their bounty into specialized bins to allow the raw materials to be transferred to the smelters or other refinery equipment as needed.
