This image shows a serene sunset scene over a calm lake, reminiscent of anime art. A lone boat creates ripples on the water, reflecting the warm glow of fairy lights adorning ancient trees.

Thank you all for participating in Photorealistic Challenge #42 -- and congratulations to the winners!
Once again we came close to the second boost (180/200) -- maybe next time will be the charm!
I look forward to seeing all of you for Issue #43, and in the meantime, I'll leave you with this little gem I read online: βWith AI, we can make oil paintings that our beloved Uncle Bernie could make -- but what photographer, even a world-renowned one, could ever take a shot of two fairies dancing in the woods?β π
Peace Love and Cameras,

Hey shutterbugs! Big shoutout to everyone who jumped into Photorealistic Challenge #40 -- and major congrats to the winners!
Once again, the entries were top-notch, and that's a win in my book.
Just a heads-up: photorealism is the main thing you gotta focus on when voting. To keep it real: if an image is stunning but looks like a painting, it can't and shouldn't get a high rating.
With that said, here are my top picks (only advice, of course!) for photorealism models among the many made available by NightCafe: Flux (all), Imagen (all), RealViz (all), Fluently (all), Juggernaut (sp. 9 and XI), Stable Core.
So, have a blast and stick around because we'll be kicking off again soon!
Peace Love and Many Cameras,

Thank you all for participating in the 38th Photorealistic Challenge -- and congratulations to the winners!
We had lower average votes this time because... many of the images were not photorealistic enough, and by now the challenge-goers judge a lot by this!
There is one problem, which I'll tell you about in all sincerity: the moderation icons are too small for me to reject images -- a rejection is always a big deal, which I don't like to do unless I'm ultra-sure. And, unfortunately, when the images then enlarge during voting, you can see that perhaps they should not have been allowed.
So I ask you: please ππ»
A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself: βWould this image pass as a photograph if I posted it on my Instagram?β If the answer is yes, then you're all set.
Thanks again, and I hope to see you in the next one, which starts very soon!
