Sunflowers for Her

Magdin Auzravoy has an uneasy heart. She helped to save her hometown of Helionsburgh by destroying the remains of a vengeful druid named Gloria at the Knights Manor... Yet, she doesn't feel completely victorious. Her family is safe, her village has a new abundance of food, but things still feel wrong somehow. Maybe it's from her sense of self changing or from how the landscape looks so different from the one she grew up in?

Two of her brave comrades died, not even natives to the area. She failed to save them, her missing arm forever proof of that. Sean, her other comrade, is now hellbent on destroying the unnatural sudden overgrowth of sunflowers, which has caused the locals to become hostile towards him. The others in her group traveled elsewhere. Currently, Magdin is on a carriage to the nearest big city where she'll get retrofitted for a new prosthetic arm. After that, she'll probably write a book about the events that unfolded here.
