It's the annual celebration of "Legalization of Fizzy Green Soda Day!"

Created for a Daily Challenge. We had to invent a Fake Holiday. I remembered a time when I created an image in which Prohibition applied to fizzy green soda pop. You could drink fizzy red soda, orange soda, clear soda, etc., but the green stuff was illegal to sell or purchase, and naturally this had pushed its price much higher. Bootleggers were keeping busy.

So I decided to create a "sequel" image, set many years later (my prompt called for clothing of the 1940s), in which the anniversary of the Legalization of Fizzy Green Soda has become a public festival.

Much to my own surprise, I see that somehow this one made it into the Top Twenty Percent in the recent Daily Challenge. (Frankly, I didn't think this creation was all that great. I've had lots of other things which I thought were likely to make it into the Top Twenty Percent -- and they often didn't.)
