Eerie Encounters

Created for a Daily Challenge about eerie encounters. Unfortunately, it fell short of the effect I was aiming for. I was working on it right before the deadline, and discovered the hard way that I *couldn't* get inpainting with revised prompts to give her obvious vampire-style fangs, nor eyes with a strong red glow. In other words, I had wanted this woman to look a great deal more vampiric than she currently does. 

I finally inferred that the AI is programmed to have strong prejudices against that sort of thing. *Just before* the deadline for that Daily Challenge, I submitted the best effort I currently had (this one, of course), but I was not surprised that it didn't do well in the voting.

Luck mostly. New users need to create something pretty striking to stand out. Then a lot of practice, learning how to use stable-diffusion prompting styles etc. If you're lucky and score highly in a daily challenge you may get more likes if people see those creations. It takes time, practice and patience. Also networking helps some users. "Road to Mastery" has more info on how to accumulate credits for creating/following/commenting etc and there's a few chatrooms with info to help new creators on here! Good luck!
