   Beneath the shade of an ancient oak, gnarled with the weight of untold ages, a young buy perched on a moss-covered root. He clutched a book in his lap, its worn pages filled with faded tales of forgotten heroes and whispering shadows. But the wind rustling through the leaves held a story older than any parchment, a tale carved onto the very air by the passage of eons. It began with a 
sigh, a whisper barely audible over the rustling leaves. A voice like dust settling in forgotten corners, like dry twigs scraping on stone. At first, the boy dismissed it as the wind playing tricks, but as he listened, the whispers sharpened, coiling around him like unseen tendrils.


   "Forgotten… forgotten…" the voice slithered, each word a brushstroke of memory across his mind. Images flickered and danced: towering titans shaking the earth, oceans of molten gold, and skies ablaze with a thousand fallen stars. A time before time, before men etched their stories into stone.
The book tumbled from the boy’s grasp, forgotten. All his eyes could see were echoes of a sun long drowned in darkness, a city of obsidian carved into the side of a sleeping mountain. He felt the tremor of forgotten earthquakes, the sting of wind older than trees.
