Even thought the AI is not painting the entire picture of what I was trying to convey with many of my creations inspired by todays challenge [things where they don't belong]; I am super stoked at much of the imagery, I got and look forward to pulling them into photoshop for further digital artmaking. I love these images but I didn't want to enter them because I didn't want to give the idea that the homeless man didn't belong but rather that economic inequality doesn't belong, I wanted to present the juxtaposition of people having to beg, borrow and steal to persist while others have the privilege to carelessly dine in fancy cafes right in front of them.
A detailed oil painting shows wealthy people feasting on a cafe patio against an urban decay backdrop. The artwork blends photorealism with techniques suggestive of social commentary.

The idea for this piece comes from an experience I had, the concept hit me years ago as I was eating a gourmet looking salad while sitting at the sidewalk tables in front of a downtown pizzeria; I looked up to see a very destitute homeless man glancing over as he passed by and it suddenly hit me, that I was in effect flaunting my privilege by eating on an outdoor patio, right on a busy downtown street. I remembered times in my life when I myself was homeless or just times when I was super broke and couldn't afford to eat out anywhere. I remembered walking by these kind of places trying not to stare at the people, trying to ignore the sight of delicious looking foods and amazing smells- and it literally curbed my appetite, I covered the salad and left and vowed that I would never eat in a public outdoor space like that, where people had to pass by and have my privilege shoved in their faces.
