ExoTech Industries Solaris Strike Mech

This is a stripped-down version of ExoTech's Polaris designed to be more agile, like the Aldebaran. The size and weight of its lux axes have also been reduced, and the Solaris excels at throwing them to a much greater extent than the Polaris does. The Polaris' axes, while able to be thrown, are mostly meant for melee. But Solaris pilots throw their axes with a frequency and an accuracy that enemies have learned to dread. Many mech press commentators have credited this to the increasing amount of biotechnology used in newer mech designs, creating a mech that syncs more closely with its pilot.

The Solaris also has a relatively standard range of secondary weapons, including a 20 mm autocannon and a triple-barreled rocket launcher as a back mount in place of the Polaris' much heavier railgun.
