Flux Schnell
On or around Jan 14-Jan 15, 1947, 22-year-old Elizabeth Short was infamously murdered, her washed and bisected body discovered in the morning hours in a vacant Los Angeles lot. The press posthumously (and erroneously) dubbed her by the totally mythical moniker, "The Black Dahlia". January 2025 marks the 78th anniversary of her unsolved, and very brutal, murder.
A striking portrait of a 1940s woman in a Los Angeles tavern, set against a rich, deep-colored backdrop, with intricate details and fantastical elements.
