I’m not thinking of Magritte. And this is not an apple.

This was something I did in response  to the flood. Others were more dramatic but this was the one I chose. I wanted the water to recide. Sadness is what is behind it. I guess that's the symbolism.  It was very spontaneous and it became part of the Apple series. Maybe my first real attempt to describe a complex emotion. The blue apple just started  to show up in my prompts. How to make an apple not an apple.  

What do you do when someone runs up to you and screams in your face, "DON'T THINK OF MAGRITTE!!!!"?  It's a fair question....
