"Whiskey in the Jar" - an Irish traditional song set in the southern mountains of Ireland.
When the song was first written is not known. Possibly inspired by the ballad "Patrick Fleming" from the the 1650.
A dark, cinematic image of a 17th-century Irish highwayman robbing a government official near Killarney, Ireland. The misty landscape and flickering torchlight create dramatic shadows with macabre undertones in a chiaroscuro style.

One fine day in the middle of the night/Two dead men got up to fight/Back to back they faced each other/Drew their swords and shot each other.
