Greebles

Adventurers, trust not your eyes. For these beasts are not in fact cuddly kittens. Greebles are monsters shaped like kittens that use their cute form to lure unsuspecting victims back to the Greeble mound. Greeble mounds are usually polka dots on the wastes of single colored jellybeans. Within lay up to thousands of greebles, pixies not much larger than jellybeans. When approached, out pops one kitten. It nuzzles you affectionately as another pops out. Then a third, and so on. Hordes of kittens pour out one after another. All purring and sweet, you find yourself surrounded as more and more arrive. Until, like a switch flipped, one bites you. A small sting, innocuous through the mound of mewling. Another bite, and then another, until hundreds of tiny mouths are feeding. But you don’t care, from the first bite you already laid back, smiling blissfully as you sink into the Greeble mound, disappearing one small bite at a time as their dark magic takes hold.
