What’s the point of loving

If I end up in pain?

What’s the point of being myself

If people look at me in disdain?

Ask the storm inside me that.

Ask the brain inside me that.

And what’s the point of wiping away tears

If I just cry all over again?

What’s the point of opening up

If I have no words to lend?

What’s the point of promising

If the promises just get shattered?

What’s the point of life

If everything ends up in tatters?
