Creeping Crawl is Fang’s signature ground-movement ability. Unlike most bats that mostly cling or fly, Fang can move on two arms in a way that’s both eerie and agile.

🔍 What the Creeping Crawl Looks Like • Fang lowers himself close to the ground. • He places most of his weight on his elongated, powerful forearms. • His wings fold tightly, making him streamlined as he creeps forward. • His glowing green eyes shine through the darkness, giving him an unsettling silhouette. • Each step is soft, silent, and deliberate—perfect for approaching cicadas, pumpkins, or unsuspecting visitors in his cavern.

Fang’s talons are razor-sharp, curved, and incredibly strong, allowing him to grab onto just about anything — from tiny pumpkins to buzzing cicadas mid-flight. Each talon is equipped with a natural hook and textured surface that gives him an iron-like grip, perfect for clinging to cavern walls or tree branches. • In combat or play, Fang can use his Talon Grip to: • Snatch prey or objects out of the air with precision. • Dangle upside-down while clutching small items like pumpkins, shiny trinkets, or even Halloween candy. • Climb quickly along rocky cave surfaces or wooden beams. • In your Halloween world, this ability symbolizes Fang’s control and confidence — he never loses his hold, no matter how dark or spooky the night becomes.

🦇 How Fang Eats Cicadas

Fang’s glowing green eyes shimmer as he hangs upside-down from his cavern ceiling, waiting in silence. When the night fills with the buzzing song of cicadas, he tenses his purple wings.

With a swift, silent swoop, he darts through the air and snatches a cicada mid-flight using his sharp talons. His grip is strong but careful — he doesn’t crush his prize right away.

He then brings the cicada to his mouth, wrapping his leathery wings around himself like a cloak. His small fangs pierce through the insect’s shell as he takes quick, efficient bites, savoring the crunchy texture and earthy flavor. Sometimes, he enjoys toying with the glowing bugs near his pumpkin stash before eating, letting their faint buzz echo through his cavern.

When he’s done, he lets out a satisfied little chirp and hiss, licking his lips before hanging upside-down again — ready for his next midnight snack.
