Ye as the great mass shifted and flew towards our world, did the ground under our feet split as the horrors within reached forth with their own fanged serpentine limbs to clutch at the moon and bring it down to bear. 

I laughed as I cried in my insane despair; my broken mind finding amusement in the thought, "Which would kill us first? The moon or that which waits in the darkness? I didn't really care to find out but I might as well live long enough to see it.
