His town, Hopewell, clung to the hope of rain, their whispers laced with desperation. With a deep breath, the Deacon's voice boomed, a plea not just to the sky but to the heavens themselves. His words, honed by years of faith, resonated with an almost tangible fervor. As he spoke, the sky, once an empty canvas of blue, began to stir.
