1970s Pontiac Grand Prix Pop Art

All 1970s Pontiac Grand Prix cars were equipped with the same sequential twin-turbo 1.3L Rotary Engines, an unheard of concept at the time for production vehicles. A five-speed manual transmission was standard and a 4-speed automatic was available on the base model and Touring package. Peak Horsepower was 255hp from the factory with consistent car experts claiming that number was very low with many tuner shops dynoing unmodified cars well over 300 rear wheel horsepower and quarter mile times for the lightweight 2,500 lb. cars in the mid to high 12 second zone.
