Diagnosed with ADHD and Depression since 1 1/2 years now, my contact to people outside of the medical field has drastically dwindled ... my current social connections? Other people with mental health issues who understand that there are days when I don't have the strength to pick up the phone or even write a message - because they have the same struggles.
Sad but wonderful at the same time: I feel like I'm able to really be myself for the first time in my life around others, because I don't have the strength for that mask anymore - and I don't need it anymore. Now, slowly learning to not even try to put the mask back on ...

This is a fantastic image. Mine is now an angel kitty, but I can really relate
