I can hardly name any contemporary group that can be compared with oldtimers... Uriah Heep, Deep Purple, Dire Straits... King Crimson, Genesis... those were the days)) Perfect picture - something to remember!

I try not to succumb to that tendency of just liking the music of my younger years, but generally have to degree.

I was lucky enough to see Deep Purple and Uriah Heep together in the early 90s. Never saw many concerts down in South Africa when I was younger.

Would love to have seen Dire Straits.

Not so into the prog.

Even my cat loves Uriah Heep - when i put on my old Technics SL1600 something like Easy Living or Return to Fantasy he starts running and jumping all around the room ))
