Miraen Lanternwing - Dark promises never kept

In the rain-drenched city of Virelle, Miraen Lanternwing walks alone. Once a twilight envoy of the Court of Vesperlight, she bore golden wings woven from whispered promises. But the Court betrayed her, binding her to a pact she never made: to collect broken vows, not protect them. Cast out for defiance, she wanders the lamplit streets, her gown heavy with sorrow, her wings glowing only when a promise is shattered. Each flicker of light marks a vow unkept. They say if you see her, speak aloud the promise you broke. Only then will the rain ease. Only then will she vanish. But she never forgets.
