Embriana Coalfire, a Forge-Faerie

In all the blacksmiths of the Iron Kingdom, no blacksmith counts themselves more blessed than those that found the patronage of a Forge-Faerie. Normally introverted creatures with a severe temper, their bouts of whimsy and childish glee are as ubpredictable as their ire. But when they sense the innate skill and iron will of a potential Master Blacksmith, they seek that person out and make his smithy shop their home. Their innate magic makes every endeavor of the blacksmith turn to figurative gold. And once a forge-faerie makes a shop its home, its fierce loyalty bids them stay until that blacksmith dies. Or forever... whichever comes first. But beware, while a Forge-Faerie won't leave once its made a nest, should the blacksmith betray the faerie by forsaking his calling, or allowing himself to fall to sloth, the Forge-Faerie will turn to a terrible fury, and torment the Smith until he goes mad or mends his ways.
