The Will Of Nature

Long ago, an expedition went into the wilds. No one heard from them ever again.

Now, with better technology and more knowledge, another expedition ventures in.

The wilds are like nothing they could have imagined.

A woman greeted them. Her skin was as green as purest grass, her hair a bright and strange pink, and her figure was tall and muscled and full of power.

She invited them to join her people for dinner. The expedition gratefully accepted.

After drinking of water from the spring and partaking of the bounty of the garden, the expedition fell asleep. Leaves grew around their bodies to form a chrysalis.

They would become extensions of nature's will, just like all who came before.

Centuries pass, and a scientist grows curious about these wilds and gathers and expedition.

So it has been, so it will be.

Forever.
