People seriously underestimate the intelligence of birds. I used to work with parrots, and have three of my own. They are family members, and they are wicked smart.

They are so smart and just as deserving of this planet as we are. I have a Husky mix who is the smartest dog I've ever had. The amount of language he knows and does himself with pointing and moving things is unreal. 
He absolutely is a mini wolf and we adopted him and is able to go offleash in the woods I live in. They keep tearing down the woods for these monstrosity houses and what is done imho is criminal.
yes am ranting/tangenting but love animals so much and welcome birds around.......the one foot tall Woodpecker is the exception as it drilled holes in the side of my house big-time O.o
