So[u]lar Friends VIII

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

While Jesus didn't use the word "command" here, it isn't merely a suggestion, either. We have the means of sharing the Gospel worldwide that didn't exist 2000 years ago. So grateful for all of you willing to share a small part of that Gospel here. Congratulations to our winner and may we all walk in the peace of Christ this week. The first and greatest commandment:

“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me." (Exodus 20:2-3)

Oh I love this!! When we can do nothing, HE can do all things and will give us the strength to endure and overcome.  Hallelujah! I wasn't following yet, but I am now.
