Giant cat watching his pet

Reminds me of a cat in my past... named "Badger", was feral for the first 6 months of his too short life, but an admirable personality who protected his (smaller) litter mates, took an abandoned kitten under his wing, and made quite a theatrical show of it when he decided he'd had enough of being feral. Like staring at my husband and I, sitting on the porch, with all his littermates, that other kitten, and his momma! all piled on us for affection and warmth. Then he looked disgustedly at the porch door like he considered leaving. Looked at us. Looked at the door. Looked at us, expression changed, and he shook his head. Then! He leaped high in the air, looked like he achieved about 6 feet (a little shy of 2 meters) in elevation, flipped at the apex of his trajectory and landed on his back squarely in the middle of my lap! Silly, goofy, fangy kitty grin. "Well, hello!" I held my fingers out to let him sniff, but he plopped the back of his head into my palm, rolled eyes and grinned big!

sometimes it feels like this even with a normal sized cat! how does something so small take up so much space! i love it
