He looks more the hero here than arrogant, but perhaps this is after he’s had some humility knocked into him. I found it endearing that he always seemed to have time for Tyrion, as a brother. It showed a depth of character that was revealed to a greater extent later in the series. I think under that arrogant, entitled exterior there was always the makings of a noble night, he just needed to have some of the  snottiness knocked out of him to find it!. 🤣🤣🥰

Yes, this is the later stage of his character arc.  Across the eyes his humbling is clearly evident.  

When it's time for growth Life always comes for what we identify with the strongest yet take for granted.  Then *like that!* ... it's gone forever. The audience has good reason to offer little sympathy to Jamie and yet his journey through loss and growth is one of the more universal in the books.

It's also a fine touch to gift him with that authentic love for Tyrion.  The rare instances where they converse together alone are wonderful scenes in the series.  Both actors shine in their roles and there appears a natural chemistry of fondness between them on the screen.

Jamie’s character arc in the series was one of my favourites, although I’m still unsure if they closed it in a way that was in-keeping with the arc they’d built. I think the whole final season or perhaps two, could have been handled better. There was a lot that looked like *‘how can we finish this in a hurry’*  I can see the humility in his eyes here beautiful work 🙏😊❤️😊🙏

Jamie: “There *are* no men like me; only *me.”* 

At first glance, outsiders perceive Jaime to be arrogant, cocky, cold, dishonorable, extremely dangerous, disdainful, and sarcastic. To a large extent he is arrogant about his own abilities, but not without cause. Jaime was arguably one of the greatest swordsmen ever, but the loss of his sword-hand warped his abilities, which did much to humble him. 

Jaime does not mock others over minor insults the way Cersei does, and he can muster up polite behavior, but he is usually very blunt and straightforward. Much like his brother Tyrion, he typically just says what he is thinking, and has no reservations about mocking those he perceives as incompetent. Underneath this cold and sarcastic attitude, Jaime is a very complicated man.
