new story thread from an old LINK WORLDS Game concept Rodney wanted to do right after the supernatural pirate adventure series we were going to follow LINK WEST with. Rod & I don't talk anymore. He took it bad when I insisted LINK was mostly my idea, and that I needed to be involved in LINK-related creation, if not total creative control. I believed his then-wife was angling to cut me out, but Rod took it to mean I was cutting him out. I miss my partner. He is neither a great writer nor artist, but he forced me to be, and that's not easy. LinkWest was a passion project for him; a love letter to his dad, whom he misses. Nearest thing I have in that space is a crook who fell from his condo balcony. Gilles never really approved of me, but I respected his work ethic immensely.
