The team exchanged looks; Fairbairn gave a low whistle, Bjornson grinned faintly, and Helena folded her hands in quiet gratitude.

“We won't let you down, General,” Larkin said. “I know you won't. Carter out.” With that the logo of Stargate Command appeared briefly, then the screen went black as the Stargate had shut down.
“Sir, we should prepare quarters for the Seabees,” said Sister Helena.
“Agreed,” replied Larkin. “How many rooms do we have in the dormitory?”
“I counted 30 rooms, Sir,” Helena replied. “15 down here and 15 upstairs.”
“We might have the Seabees check the structural integrity of the upstairs,” Fairbairn said.
“Agreed, since Larkin. We still have enough rooms downstairs to billet them. Sister Helena, can you supervise?”
“I can, Sir,” Helena replied. “Each of us will take a room and clean it. I will check on each of you and the first one to finish gets some Texas fudge.”
“Where did you get fudge?” Fairbairn asked.
