I thought it was just me but my grandmother in her 90s sat each of us including her great grandchildren down at different times when they visited or spoke on the phone to tell them exactly what she thought and was both kind and bluntly but lovingly hurtful. Whatever she said to my niece, her only female offspring,, was profound..What she said to me had an impact, too. this is a depiction of that event.
