Boltning XL v1 Lightning
Why did the passenger pigeon become extinct? The passenger pigeon's entire lifecycle relied on specific trees. The birds required vast areas of forest to nest, roost and feed. As people cut down more woodland, the number of places large enough to house the pigeons rapidly decreased. Overexploitation was another significant factor in their extinction.
