It was promoted as a "Complete Acne Prevention Kit". It contained an expensive helmet with UV lighting, a rubber carrot nose, and leather goggles...
It didn't do anything, and it didn't sell, and it was received by the public even worse than the Pocket Fisherman.
I must give credit where credit is due. I was inspired by this wonderful image from @Dreamscancometrue

Was his nose a means to collect the pus?
You know, if you replace the UV bulbs with LEDs, it could double as a nighttime safety device for them crazy chronic walkers...
The person wearing this contraption doesn't look old enough to be senile thus probably not Ron Popeil here. So it looks like he sold at least one. The buyer, although not senile, likely had the intelligence just above a fruit fly. If there was a user manual, likely he wouldn't be able to make sense of it. Your image has piqued my curiosity now. Did this person ever try using it instead of merely wearing it? What sort of results did he get? Did he glow in the dark afterwards or set off Geiger counters? Did he attempt to eat the rubber nose later on? So many unanswered questions!

Looks like the perfect present for someone you don't like. Therefore I don’t understand why it didn’t sell —was it that expensive?🖤🖤🖤🖤
