I wish I was that young. Imagine the most ordinary middle-aged man. About 50 years old with wrinkles under the eyes and stubble. Because he just didn't have time to shave. Of course, the military uniform is modern, body armor, equipment, weapons and the like. A helmet with tactical goggles and this is a very small part of the whole. The main thing is to show what is in his eyes. And in the eyes - fatigue and determination to kill all enemies and protect the civilian population. I myself tried to portray this courageous man, but the result turned out to be similar to your works. I had a relatively successfully drawn young military woman. A military man and a teenager - no. It is very difficult to depict all this in this way. The main thing is not to romanticize the war, because it is one's own and other people's blood, as well as various parts of the body, which lie and very often cannot be taken for burial, because the enemy does not give such an opportunity.

I believe only a human hand can -actually- make all this things appears in a single static image. Anyway, i will keep on trying ... And when the crazy man that is president of FR will decide, i will have to go... and come back with a lot of inspiration.
