Apologies to all our dear friends for our neglect, life has been, and is being, hectic. Not quite as bad as the picture but the messing around makes it feel like we're all at sea, and like Gericault's 'raft of the medusa.' We have a leak from our main inlet pipe. Insurance company, water board, company digging two huge holes in the garden and making the leak worse, and then going away with nothing resolved, need to involve the council for a licence to dig up the pavement, Simon having back to back panic attacks, and me having to be calm when I want to start cutting myself.
