Leonor Fini (1907–1996) was an Argentine-Italian Surrealist painter known for her dreamlike, theatrical compositions featuring powerful, enigmatic women, fantastical creatures, and mysterious masked figures. Though often associated with Surrealism, Fini rejected labels and crafted her own visual language, blending elements of mythology, sensuality, and the subconscious. Her work often explored gender fluidity, dominance, and transformation, creating hauntingly beautiful yet unsettling visions that defied convention. (OpenAI, 2025)
