It's a tall order because even carbon nanotube thin, that's 70 to 100 miles of cable, strung between a base on Earth and an asteroid up top. Been writing about one and wanted a visual, except the AI likes space elevators almost as much as she does centaurs and Dyson spheres. Almost.
