Friends, I'm taking a few days out, I'll vote on things that need voting on and keep up my streak but I am taking care of my health.
A dramatic image of a storm with lightning, revealing a crying human face within. The face is split, one side in red, black, and yellow, the other in black and blue.

Sending you love and healing energy to push back the darkness.....take care, my sister.♥
Awesome pic but I'm so sorry it's inspired by a horrid migraine! It's good that you're taking time out to take care of yourself...
Take the time you need, dear!! You are the most important in your life
Get better soon, I know the feeling and I think I got sinus involvement too....Prayers for a swift recovery. Love to you both.

Some people are adverse to taking medication so this is only a suggestion. I'm much older now so my migraines are horribly severe like they used to be when I was young, vomiting even well after my stomach was empty and just wishing for complete oblivion. But I still got them, just not as often or as severe but still wishing I was dead.
My oldest son has inherited much of his physiology from me, including migraines and fibromyalgia. It was my doctor who convinced me I had fibromyalgia as I had dismissed the idea years before. The medication he prescribed helps a LOT and my son now takes it too. Unfortunately, it has lessened his migraines. After trying out every single medication there was for them, the doctor tried gabapentin. He already takes pregabalin for the fibromyalgia like I do and I thought the two aren't used together. Anyway, gabapentin lessened the severity and the frequency of his migraines.
