The Lady in the Forest

I found her out here a couple of months ago.

Boy, did she scare the holy hell out of me when I first saw her. I was out for a hike, just enjoying nature with not a soul around for miles, when I look up to see her looming right there in front of me. Just about soiled myself!

She looked like some kinda statuesque nature goddess covered in rust and moss, like she'd been out here a while. It's very unusual to see a droid this far away from civilization, there's nothing out here for them. No power, no people to serve, nothing.

I did look for a serial number to try to figure out if she belonged to anyone, but it seems someone scratched it out. Her tracker chip is missing too, almost like someone didn't want her to be found.

Very odd, that.

I mean, you hear stories about droids wandering off from their assigned task, doing odd things, but a quick reset usually sets them right.

To make it all the way out here in the middle of nowhere, makes me real curious to know what her story was.
