Oh man, it’s hard! Gosh I’ll tell you, it took me forever. 

Here’s something that helps with likes: publish maybe two pieces, some of your favorites after experimenting for a while. Then do two things as fast as you can: 

1) respond to all the people who commented on your work from the day before. Find their work, then comment on it and like at least two pieces.

2) explore the newest items, not the top hourly or the default view. Follow people that make work that reminds you in any way of yours. Like it and comment on it. This is important because you are making friends with people who are probably new. Those NC friends are the ones who will get you to that badge :-)
