I rather like the girl being human. Gives a nice start-crossed lover feel. But you could try not using Mucha. He skews HEAVILY to flowers and women and is probably fighting your prompt. Just use art Nouveau, lithography and his palette to get the look and avoid humans.

Soft Pastels and Muted Earth Tones:

Ivory, Cream, Pale Beige – backgrounds, skin, and drapery

Warm Peach, Blush Rose, Terracotta – skin tones, garments

Olive Green, Sage, Moss – foliage, accents

Dusky Lavender, Mauve, and Periwinkle – shadows, robes

Burnt Sienna, Ochre, and Umber – grounding tones, outlines

Antique Gold and Brass – jewelry, halos, decorative flourishes

2. Limited but Strategic Bold Accents:

Teal or Turquoise – jewelry, peacock feathers, highlights

Crimson or Garnet – flowers, lips, selective garments

Black or Deep Brown – outlines (often softened by the lithographic process)
