Louis is a knight sworn to service, and he loves his recent promotion to Lord Procterate of the realm. Despite his satisfaction, his life was about to change forever...

As he explored the far reaches of the kingdom, he stumble upon a massive ravine in the ground. As he contemplates his next move (for this discovery couldn't go unexplored) he spotted a group of mercenaries running towards him, daggers and short swords raised.

Although he was unfazed (he had dealt with many bands like this before), he soon found himself outnumbered. As the mercenaries forced him closer to the ravine, Louis realized that it was only a matter of time before he fell into the depths.

Mustering his strength, he force the mercenaries back and lept into the darkness. As he hid in the shadows below, the mercenaries decided there was no reason the chase the knight, he'd either starve or be attacked by some monster and left for the cave crawlers to be consumed...
