Christmas Eve Nightscapes

The whole family had been hard at work with final preparations for the Christmas festivities.  Henry as chef de cuisine, with Mom as his more than able and willing sous.  The boys had initiated Vicky and Jo into a family tradition, stringing lights in two yellowwoods that Henry and Beth had planted to mark their births.  The girls had arranged flowers and lanterns around their trunks while I'd set out the cutlery and crockery.
