Too Many Essays

There was a highschool teacher at Winslow Highschool down in the Southern part of the USA, and she taught economics to about 300 students. She was a new teacher with little experience. It came time to give her students their examinations. She had 200 questions on the test and every question was an essay. It took several hours for the students to finish the tests. After everyone was finished she gathered up all the examinations and took them home. Once she got home she started grading them. She never made it back to school the next day. She was still grading the essays. In fact, it took years before she made it back to school. And, by that time the students had graduated highschool and college, and they had become successful in their careers. She took the graded essays back to the school, and it was all new staff. The principal told her that she no longer worked there. She went home, threw the essays on the floor, and said, "I guess I'll just keep living off my trust fund."
